The animated figure drawing piece is complete. It's six minutes long and will premiere this Sunday at the opening of the Out of the Box show. It's called Seventeen Drawings of Tamiera. Like most of my paintings, it's named after the model. I'll post it here this weekend in the inevitable, not quite ready yet, Animation section.
I've been asked to organize this year's Rabbit festival by Club President and my buddy, Rick the brilliant freelance photographer (whose website is rather amazing). I'll also be designing a poster/invite for the event, so you can expect to see some Rabbitty design ideas here soon.
The annual Philadelphia Independents animation screening (hosted by Christopher Magee) will be held at The Plastic Club on Saturday, March 4th. I'm on the list of animators and I have until February 24 to create a new animation. Since Seventeen Drawings of Tamiera took about three weeks, I should be able to come up with something by the end of the month. As of now I have no idea what it will be.
