Friend and fellow artist Ed Johnson runs the Wednesday afternoon figure drawing sessions at The Plastic Club. Lately, he's been extending his skills to setting up the model stand. He's been conjuring some impressive backdrops from the materials available in the room.
Figure drawing sessions with elaborate backdrops will be set up all over the club tomorrow for the Drawing Marathon, which will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Details are posted here.
Meanwhile, Bob's show is still up at Gallery 222 in Malvern. I stopped by last weekend and was surprised that he has around twenty works on display in an extensive group show. Gallery 222 is a little house with lots of rooms. The show runs until next Sunday.
