Rabbit fest 2019

It was a grand time at 7th annual Plastic Club Rabbit festival last night. Everyone had fun, several while dressed in elaborate costumes. Some light evening drizzle only succeeded in turning our outdoor concert into an indoor dance party.

There was a lot of singing and dancing this year. Club members showed how entertaining they can be when performing onstage. An enthusiastic audience was also treated to dramatic readings; the annual play, this time a two-act comedy about selling art; musical numbers courtesy of the club's own Toy Band; and club favorite, Mike Tells a Joke.

The board members prepared a feast for dinner, which was followed by free ice cream distributed via a genuine ice cream truck and a concert courtesy of club Animation Festival host Chris Magee and his band, Dreaming Thomas.

One of the great things about spending time at The Plastic Club is getting to watch artists work together to create unique events like this. A thousand thanks to everyone who attended, arranged, performed, cooked, cleaned, and contributed.

By the end of the night, the consensus was that this was one of our best ever Rabbit festivals. Let's do it again next year.
